Corrections Reform Group (CRG) provides consulting services to Department of Correction Training Academies, nationwide, with a focus on promoting humane treatment and personal transformation. By working with officers, we help shift perspectives on rehabilitation, emphasizing that inhumane treatment hinders the transformative process. One story that illustrates our impact involves a cadet who, after attending our training, became a key advocate for more rehabilitative practices in his facility, helping foster an environment of dignity and mutual respect, which in turn reduced recidivism rates among incarcerated individuals.
Nonprofit Sector
CRG provides consulting services to nonprofit organizations to enhance their capacity to achieve impactful transformations within the communities they serve. For example, when a youth shelter sought to improve its outreach and support services, CRG implemented training programs focused on cognitive reform and resilience-building for staff. This training enabled personnel to better understand the challenges faced by youth and develop more effective, empathetic approaches to support. By equipping these organizations with the skills and methodologies to transform their interactions and programming, CRG helped them elevate their mission, ultimately leading to more successful outcomes for the individuals they assist.
Education
CRG offers consulting for educational institutions, helping them create systems that st help struggling students transform. We worked with a local college that had a growing population of struggling students. Through our cognitive reform workshops and individualized coaching programs, we helped the administration develop support systems that improved student retention and performance. One student, previously on the verge of dropping out, credits our intervention with helping him reframe his mindset, stay in school, and graduate with honors.
Corporate Leadership
CRG also extends its services to corporate leadership and professional development. We recently partnered with a mid-sized tech company that was struggling with high turnover due to leadership challenges. After implementing our leadership transformation workshops, focused on emotional intelligence and cognitive reframing, the company’s culture began to shift. Employees reported increased job satisfaction, and managers noted improvements in team collaboration and problem-solving.
